Hay in Art is a comprehensive overview of different art pieces which either depict hay or use hay as an artistic medium (as well as hay in poetry and literature). This began as a blog, but now includes essays, a database link and multiple categories in which to view art and commentaries. I love this both for the hay and as being an example of how you can cover one seemingly simple topic from so many perspectives.
I would love to know the story behind this. The About page does not do the site justice.
